Hello everyone! I hope you all enjoyed the lovely summer we were blessed with. GRLZradio.org had peace in their pockets this summer. The wonderful ladies hosted the 1^st Annual Peace Blow  Out!!! It was held on August 21, 2010 from pm at College bound Dorchester, 275 East Cottage Street in Dorchester, MA. With weeks of planning rehearsals and hard work the blow out was a huge success.

The Blow Out began with poetry, dance, singing, rapping, krumping, and monologues. It shifted pace after intermission with the fashion segment of the show. GRLZradio.org ladies, College Bound participants and Blix Boy Clothing Company held it down! They rocked new fashions and original Blix Boy Clothing. The show ended with a dedication ceremony for those who had lost friends and family to violence or other causes. Teens walked the runway with pictures of their loved ones to celebrate the lives they lived.

The Blow Out was a huge success and we look forward to the peace slam next summer! Thanks again to all who helped out and all who participated. Remember…keep listening to GRLZradio.org where peace and positivity is played!!!
